Enumclaw Residence

This home is located on beautiful property out in the country. We oriented the plan to provide a sense of enclosure and security for the family. Any approach to the residence must pass through the porte cochere to access the front door. The great room/ kitchen area has a cozy fireplace and TV, with ample seating, all under a gently arched ceiling that directs your eye toward the surrounding pasture. On a clear day, Mount Rainier is framed by the windows surrounding the fireplace.

Approach to the master suite is down a curved hallway. Brass castings of salmon, designed by a local artist adorn the floor. The bedroom wing is modeled after the local forest fire observation towers that were built by the Forest Service. It is constructed with huge timbers and filled with windows to capture the beautiful views and to allow the morning sun to fill the bedroom with light.
