The stone work in the Island Lodge is hand crafted by Terry Wean and his dedicated crew. Terry is an artist first and a stone mason second. Their crew was probably on site longer than everyone except the general contractor as there was extensive stone work on the project. It’s nice to know that there are still craftsmen around who are willing produce work of this quality. Each stone was chosen, sized and placed by hand (or by bock and tackle) day by day, piece by piece. It was exciting to see their work progress and their artwork appear as each piece was laid. Great people to work with!
